How long does an appointment take?
Most visits take about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on your dog's size, coat type, condition, and service. Your dog is with the groomer the entire time rather than waiting in a kennel.
Do you need my water or electricity?
No. Our grooming van is fully self-contained with warm water, power, heat, and air conditioning. We only need a safe, reasonably level place to park near your home.
Is mobile grooming good for anxious or senior dogs?
It is often an excellent fit. There is no car ride, crowded lobby, cage time, or room full of unfamiliar dogs—just one groomer and your dog in a calm salon close to home.
What if my dog's coat is matted?
We handle matting humanely and prioritize comfort over preserving a particular haircut. Additional time or a shorter trim may be necessary, and we will discuss the plan with you first.
Do I need to be home?
Someone must be available for the initial handoff and return unless another access arrangement has been approved in advance. You do not need to remain outside during the groom.
How do I keep a recurring appointment?
After the first visit, we will recommend a 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, or 12-week cadence based on your dog's coat and needs. Recurring appointments are reserved as route capacity allows.
Are vaccinations required?
Yes. Dogs must be current on rabies vaccination unless a veterinarian has provided a valid medical exemption. Vaccination details are stored in your dog's account.
Can there be additional charges?
Additional charges may apply for matting, impacted undercoat, extra handling, or substantially more time than the scheduled service. We assess your dog at the start and discuss pricing changes before proceeding.
Do you groom year-round?
Yes. The van is climate controlled with heat and air conditioning for year-round grooming. Severe weather or unsafe road conditions may require rescheduling.
How do I pay?
We accept major credit and debit cards, contactless payment, and cash. Payment is due when the appointment is complete, and you will receive an itemized receipt.
